Mission Statement:

Our mission  is to equip all our pupils for a journey of lifelong discovery by teaching them how to learn and to be secure in that learning. We aim to serve the community by providing education of the highest quality within the context of Christian beliefs and to promote Christian  values through the experience it offers all its pupils.

Aims:

We aim to provide a secure and happy environment within which the children can, through richness and variety of experience:

  • develop lively and enquiring minds; question and argue rationally and apply these skills to a variety of tasks;
  • acquire knowledge and skills relevant to life in an ever changing world;
  • develop high standards of individual achievement in English and Mathematics according to each pupil's ability;
  • learn to respect religious and moral values and to show tolerance of other races, religions and ways of life;
  • acquire an understanding of the society in which they live, the interdependence of individuals, groups and communities and nations;
  • develop a sense of responsibility towards themselves and others and form and sustain good personal relationships.

In working towards achieving these aims, parental involvement is of the greatest importance. The help and support of parents encourages the most effective learning within our school.
